    Conclusion from the test races:

    1. We need to do an other try to practice the start. This time with our rule file and not the rF2 default. Best chance would be if some of you have time after the qualifying to do a quick start procedure test. This will only take ~5min.
    2. The Z4 is a bit to fast in the latest update. There will be a tiny bop update which makes the car 3-4 seconds slower a lap.

  3. Ok, and how could my team suscribe to the workshop item?

    Thanks.

Let me share my thoughts about the BoP.
Firstly, if you take a look at the Live Timing, it's clear that Z4's are in the lead. BUT. The whole BoP thing just makes no sense. Through a 24hrs race at Nordschleife, there is absolutely no chance that a team - fighting for the win with good pace - survives the race without any major accidents/car damage.
Secondly, every car has it's own benefits. Like the Porsche, which has absolutely 0 tyre wear, or the McLaren which is famous for it's good handling and behaviour.
Yes, you may reply: there's 9 seconds between the fastest Z4 (D. Wizner, currently 1st) and the fastest non-Z4 (C. Blanton, currently 4th), but hey, these are flat-out laps. Tyre wear and fuel consumption are really high with this kind of flat out driving.
I hope that the BoP won't take place, or if it does, we will be able to change our car.
EDIT: Quali's on this Saturday. I think you are a bit late with changing the mod, or even one car. Wouldn't be too fair to do so.

The car only will be ~60kg heavier (so far it was this amount of weight to light) and minimum extra drag (1~3 kmh) top speed less. It no major change and you should still be the fastest when you look at your 10 second gap.

But feel free to change your car if you dont want to drive the Z4 anymore.

Well, if you ask me, this +60kg thing could make the car totally undriveable. But we'll see.
When will be BoP's changes applied?

    This evening.

For me and my test setup the handling was improved by the bop changes (rear was more stable). But if you have an extreme setup it may be the case.

  13. What version will be used for qualifying and race? A lot of leagues using 1109 have gone back to 1108 because there were issues in multiplayer.

Since we tested 1109 in our testraces and found no problems it will be build 1109.

In case we will find any gamebreaking problems before the race we shall announce a build change.

I will be finally impressed, if you set every car in nearly clear laps into 8:10...
For me with the Camaro, with the update 1108->1109 came an break, miss the handling since then and don´t see my laps 8:17 again, last laps this time with B1108 i had an gap from about 3 Seconds before lost it in Hohenrain :(, think 8:15 has could been virtuell best.
But if you see the weighting of the cars best times, there are striking much Z4 in the top times, while other brands also were near by, for example on our car all four drivers, Tuellner, Engel, Kern and me were in a gap about 3 seconds, because Tueller (our very best driver in Entrylist) and me now driving 8:22 with new build. I don´t know every team and who drives which car, but seems not that there are really competitive times from other cars, ignored the Hagemann-Porsche. He´s even really quick by 6 seconds gap between the Hagemann´s and David OReilly. But i must admit, that it´s not very comparable, if times were merged from two servers, one of it with optimal circumstances. If i remember right, i´ve driven my times on real server with around 20° late October. I don´t like to drive on Server with optimal settings, because it´s not realistic for race.

Yes, it´s right, first, every team, car and driver has to minimize the issues, but it can hit everyone. Hit´s the faster it´s an glimmer of hope for the slower, hit´s the slower, they had no hope for an fair contest. If your the consider fastest car, you can minimize the risk of accidents, own or forced by lapped cars. If you want to close or hold gap, with an much slower car you had to risk a lot.
An race only can be fair, if the circumstances were nearly the same. BOP is always an critical theme, but i think P1 has some objective arguments to decide about the BOP. Anyway i wish all no big issues, especially with hardware and ping and an good race...

    Hello!

On the Sunday testrace, you have asked if any problems happens we write it down to you.

On the safety car it turned green to start and the yellow flag appeared, for me and for my friends the game crashed,

    Rfactor 2 has stopped working.

Both of us have used the directx11 version and we used it during the race.

We experienced on our test, if an accident happens during the race the directx11 users will have their game to crash, but for the directx9 users they can continue the race without any problems.

Can you give a solution for the directx11 users to solve this issue with the game?

We will take a look at this issue and in if its a can be repeated we will consider to use B1108 for the race.

@All: If you have similar problems please report them.
