@Simon Christmann : good to see you guys trying some different things for the race management, but could you either provide the information on the forums well before race start or make sure that everyone is guaranteed to be paying attention during the qual/warm up as you explain it? Chat as as well as TS explanations, keeping the drivers from driving while you are explaining, that sort of thing. Various techniques have been used in other leagues to capture and hold the attention of the participants. I've also seen chat messages from race control during the formation lap to remind drivers of the routine - this morning it was clear that many of the participants were thinking about the race rather than the shake-out (if they even heard your instructions in the first place) and then at that first start......better left unsaid.

Sorry I couldn't stay while you sorted out the race and got it restarted; I was hoping to get in at least 1/2 of the race but I had things to do in RL and so had to leave. Glad to see that you did indeed get it back on track - hope that it gave you the information you needed.

Slow downs and freezes on every lap in practice and quali, some in the same place. It almost caused a couple incidents.I skipped the race,it's really basically not practical to race like this until there is a solution.

Are you using DX9 or DX11 version of rF2? I ran DX9 with 10 year old PC and it worked like a charme even at the start. Was suprised myself.

dx11 since it's the default now and it's rubbish.I guess it could be issues with the track also.I never had problems with rf2 in dx9 but it's not supported anymore.Always something with rf2.

You can downgrade in Steam to Version 1109, it still works.

or you could just select the dx9 version of the current build through game properties on Steam like I did

  10. Nope? :D

  11. They are problems with the track. Its having huge clip planes which is causing a lot of problems to the people but also to the server side.

I believe it will be fixed in the next update that will be launched in 1 or 2 days.

    Cheers.

Vmod is in the making an server will be up shortly. There are some changes to pitlane and garage to have enough space for 50 vehicles.

Don't worry if your team skin is not shown correctly. There is a mistake in the naming of the skin which will be sorted tomorrow. i'm currently working on a fix.

Can someone tell me the reasoning why teams are deleted of the entrylist if no skin is send in?

This is something that is never mentioned in the rules or any forum post. We already had put in a lot of effort preparing for this, so as you might understand that it is very annoying to get you entry's cancelled because something as simple as a skin, while it was never communicated to the teams that no skin = no entry.

Right now it is a bit of a rant post to ventilate my feelings. But please, see it as feedback and hopefully change this or add it to the rules or race thread.

Good luck to those driving Atlanta, we hope to join you back in round 2.

Every team manager is in the official conversation where this "rule" was explained.
We opened up a confirmation thread and gave infos regarding all of that. We had to take this step because we already had 50 entries and 5 teams on the reserve list. Every other team managed to confirm their participation as well as submitting their skin. There was way more than enough time to confirm the team as well as send in the skin / contact a administrator if there are questions.

    Cheers
