This is from the race topic information:

    Weather:
Real time with 100% chance of rain

Is it going to rain on Saturday during the race?
    Thanks

I'm not sure if my PC will run fine with so many cars on track.
In case I start the qualifying session, and if I have problems with my PC performance, is it allowed to leave the server to give place to a team mate?
    Thanks.

Don't have to leave the server Nelson, you can do the driver swap during qualy.

Just a short reminder. The content download from the race server will be disabled.

You to download need either via steam (i know we are at our limit) or via the practice servers.
The two practice server will be running during the race.

I'd just like to thank a certain TCR car/driver for consistently moving under braking zones today and causing some unnecessary incidents with a lot of other cars and drivers. I know we aren't all perfect and we make mistakes too, but one certain car today was always always always being dangerous. It reminded me a lot of a certain Jan Studenski's driving/attitude towards faster classes, if I'm honest.

Thanks for the race, and sorry if sometimes i aggressively passed the lapped cars.
We watched each other. Professional drivers!
    Congrats for everyone.

First of all I'd like to thank P1-Gaming for the organisation of an amzing event as always :)

We were in a strong position having gotten pole position in the qualifying and having the fastest overall lap on the practice server, but I fucked up huge when I decided to play it safe and start on wets with a fast drying track. I decided to pit in the fifth lap which put me at the end of the field and had to work my way up while avoiding spinning off because some GT's were trying to push me into the wet braking zone while lapping. I understand that some of them were on slicks too but that is absolutely no reason to try and push Tourers off going into a corner if they are responsible for a safe pass...

Still I managed to gain place by place and when it finally dried off enough I was able to gain consistently on Christian. I then noticed that he did an extra stop (presumably because of damage but not sure) which handed me the lead which I only gave away when we got Mohammed into the car. He came out behind Christian by about 2s and the fighter he is he claimed it back after a few laps with a nice overtake while I was talking to Markus. He then handed me the car back after approx. 10 laps.

From there on I had a smooth race being comfortably in the lead. I tried going for the sub 2 minute lap which I finally gained 1 lap to the end because I specifically pitted for fresh tires just to get it :D

Really happy to get the second win for the project "Me Myself and I alone" and already looking forward to the next race :)

Some video highlights of the #16 Hagemann Racing entry.

It was a tough day at the office. We qualified 20th and started on Wets, didn't think for a moment anyone would start on slicks.
Our tyre life was an issue so we ran 72 litre stints.
We had contact lap 1 Turn 3 with @Matt Horst, in my view a racing incident, side by side into T3. We rejoined in P33 and passed the Touring Cars to be P26.
When I pitted for slicks on lap 6 I scored 10 sec penalty, I hadn't seen the 60 KPH limit and assumed it was same as practice server (100kph).
Came back around to serve it 2 laps later still not knowing what it was for and damaged the car on entry and got another Penalty for speeding.
Came back around to repair the car.
Stopped again to serve the second penalty.
So 4 stops by lap 9! Not a good start.

Lap 10 I was to be lapped by Knudson at T8 and figured that I would do it on exit (not so easy in a 3 apex corner to make room), I moved left which compromised my speed at the 3rd Apex and he tapped and spun me. Could things get better soon?

I finished the stint and handed it to @Cody at about lap 24. I was pretty glad to get out of the car.
After 2 (70 litre) tanks of fuel I took the car back at lap 86 in P17 for 2 tanks of fuel. Had a nice clean fight with the Bentley of Beard around lap 130. That was the fun part.
Cody brought it home P16 after 2 stong stints.

Thanks to the team at P1 Racing for this event. Congrats to the winners @Micheal Roellin and Musto.
It was pretty cool how close the fight for the win between the leaders was in GT3 at the end.
@Lars Hagemann and Bjorn Hagemann brought their car home for P8, well done to them.

See you at the next one.

    EDIT:
Forgot to mention the noises those TRG cars make, either sounding like a tractor gearbox with straight cut gears and sand instead of oil or like the suspension is broken! But had no issues with TRG drivers, we managed to find our way around safely.
Also weather: Once again weather played a big part tactically and driving wise in the event.
Like many people we hadn't done wet practice. For me if it rains, it rains and it's the same for everyone. Unless I am planning a picnic at the race venue it doesn't matter too much whether its exactly synchronised with real life although it allows a better planning if we can see weather coming IRL.

Big thank you to all staff from the Rennsimulanten! Server did his job as well as known from the past. Only some irritations with weather station, but for me not as critical , because we had multiple ways to check weather forecast at the location and i set every event an marker on my smartphone app for nearby city. I´ve expected thunderstorm since begin of week. That there were no server to train it, is only very realistic. If there is no rain during testing (but is was!), we had to watch out past wet races and decide, what to do for wet conditions. And i agree as someone said before race: if there is rain at track, lot of drivers move to the dry server! Did not understand this!
But what i would advise: maybe set the ping of the weather plugin very shorter than the 500 seconds. Minimum to hold the 500 pings per day is 173 seconds and with 200 we could expect faster weather changes and maybe track would not get 100% wet, if there is only little rain. In 500 seconds plus the "fading" it becomes full wet every time.

Global race was really great and spectacular! Overall skill get´s better and better race by race. We should not expect, that we would see an race without some failures and maybe bad accidents, but that´s even real and happens even with pro´s. Unfortunately our team could not reach P1 this race, but it doesn´t matter. Great job especially from Knudsen, Richter, Tüllner, Pfeiffer and Tump leading race long time. Technical issues like an lag destroyed the chance to save P1 and P2, but for us it´s like an tire puncher in real race, happens sometimes and we have to arrange with. I´m proud for mine 16 active drivers on eight cars and we will support P1 again next race with quantity, but in hope even in quality ;)

For me it wasn´t so great. Don´t know, why i´ve driven 2 seconds faster in first outlap in Warmup than in Qualy!? :( Because of frame issues i decide not to risk additional problems with slicks on wet track, so i put on the wet´s and hoped, that i could save them over an stint like i could do in some other races. But i think the mass of cars dried the track really fast and after half fuel they didn´t work anymore. Kern´s stint was even as bad as mine before and with stint 3 we decide to reset ourself and cool down. So we did unspectacular 3+ hours and reached P15 from the end of GT field. So we are not so sad as we thought at beginning.
Now we are looking forward to Le Mans, another great race i hope (and i hope i´ve got free from work :( ) and meet you all and an full grid! ;)

Have a nice summer, best regards, René
