Eieiei, we should not forget, what BOP means. Everyone who BOP´s cars, makes possible, that we can see races between horses, donkeys, camels, ostrichs, elephants and what ever, to speak figuratively. Maybe it´s easier to balance in sim than in real racing, because modders can put same values in all cars and only had other skins, but at the end it would be an cup event. It´s just that different characteristic of the cars, what´s make the difference, but we can´t expect an perfect result, especially on every track.
But what do we expect? And what were every one ready to perform? Do we want an driver commission, who test´s and balances weeks long the cars? Would we agree with the choice of the drivers, if we not one of them? Were we ready to invest hours and days for that job, together with others, with dissents and maybe at the end the critic of the community? Would we agree with the result? Do we expect endless discussions like the last few days?
I don´t think that we should go too professional! And don´t think, that we should expect this work from P1, above all, it is not allowed to expect that. They made an great stuff, especially since that event grow up after Nords with 30+ cars and now a lot of new unknown members and much more discussions and stuff to check. But it´s an hobby for them like for us and we should not be too much critical, if not everything is like it should in our eyes. And don´t forget, there are always other eyes, there are more than one opinion!

Maybe it could be an alternative, to give the Studio-GT´s an chance, or the Endu-Racers or other, indeed legal, stuff. Maybe we could create for next event three testservers with the different content and give the community an possibility to test directly, and maybe the "best lap times" of the servers give´s us after some days an answer, what content makes sense the most!?

But anyway, we should net expect too much work with balancing, because there are always winners and looser, no matter what was changed on BOP. It´s much too individual on side of the cars, but as well on side of drivers (including some faking;) ) and at the end we all just argue and the officials will lost fun at work.

Bathurst is a terrible track, especially for multiclass, at least in Istanbul you can overtake.

Bathurst is Legend, the round is with 2 minutes long enough. perfect for multiclass racing.
And 12 hour, is so long, you have enough time for defensive and tactical racing

You can't overtake in middle sector, its difficult in the first sector. Really bad for multiclass.

And P1 Servers have no induction system, so you drive against some idiots (sry for expression) which are so impatient or so that they will kill your car

    Hi Guys !
Maybe a poor question, but is it allowed to share a TS group with another team, or every team must create their own and be seperate to others ?
    Thanks !

I think that should be alright, Rennsimulanten always used only one channel with around 5 teams and 10+ drivers. :D

I am so sorry!! so sorry. One f.kin mistake. Number 105 Team, sorry guys.
We had a very difficult race. There was a technical bug at one of our racers and we fell back. :( I was a litle bit broken. But that is no excuse. :(

The driving standards in this league are absolutely abysmal. I don't think I completed a single lap where I didn't see a car spun around, planted in a wall or crashing into an opponent.

Well, its a relatively small circuit, 50 cars on it.

and yet somehow I managed to not hit anyone, or any walls, or spin my car. I'm not too bothered by genuine racing incidents - cars that end up making contact because they're fighting for position for example, but a huge proportion of the grid seemed to lack any basic capacity to even control their cars. Complete incompetence, rather than malice. The number of cars on track wasn't the cause of most of the incidents I saw, the cause was clear brainlessness.

I'm not completely innocent because I span before our retirement. However, some of the other cars on track have been frankly ridiculous. People spinning everywhere, TCR cars not holding their line forcing me off the circuit, TCR cars turning into me when I am already on the apex, slow GT3's not yielding to blue flags, and finally people who don't understand what a braking zone is. I'd suggest that you implement some form of licensing system because some of the people who are driving don't understand what they are doing. IT won't cure the issues but at least I won't get taken out of a fight for the lead by a car who does not understand how racing is done.

  17. Yeah, and also about 3 or 4 penalties of +1 lap with the excuse of "Unsafe Driving" when you didn't hit anyone. I don't know if Advanced SimRacers will race again here. Also I think its a bit strange that an update comes in the last day and magically the Porsche goes from 1:17.xxx to 1:16.1 and Camaro goes from 1:18.XXX to pole position in qualifying. Anyway, BMW was 20 km/h slower than Ferrari, it was like Honda F1 Engine because it took -10 HP and +70kg so... I don't like how this is going. We raced here 2 times and both times we had a shit race with 1000 contacts and unbeliable penalties finishing in last positions despite of having the fastest times in the Live Timing in both car categories. It was funny to overtake some GT3 with a Touring which looks like it is the reason why I got a drive through penalty because of "UnSafe Driving" while a Porsche crashed me turning into me while I was braking and destroyed our chances to win in Touring class and he didn't get any penalty.

We are not enjoying to prepare very long races with 1000 laps training during 2 months and then having these kind of races or having an update that comes and destroys your 2 months job of hard working and makes you change car or keep running with the same car but with -20 km/h. I was the fastest in the corners, but then the straights come and they recover about 5 or 6 tenths. I don't know if we will race in the next event.

See you all and I hope you did enjoy the event. I didn't enjoy it because I don't enjoy to fight in last positions when I have the speed and hands to fight the victory.

I think the stewards may need to re evaluate their decisions.

If you would have listened or read closely you would have seen that there is a readzone in this sector of the track and that you should not overtake if the other car does not clearly give you space. The TRG Car just drove his line, you went to the inside. so it's your fault that you got the penalty.
