# P1 Driver Profile – We Want Your Ideas and Feedback!

We’ve started working on our new **Driver & Career Statistics** project, and one of the first major areas currently in development is the **P1 Driver Profile**.
Everything is still very much in **Alpha**, so the design, structure and content are far from final. And that’s exactly why we want to involve you right from the beginning.

Our goal is to build the Driver Profile in a way that doesn’t just include what we think should be there, but also what **you as drivers actually find interesting and would like to show about yourselves**.
Part of the profile will be customizable by you. You’ll be able to add your own information about yourself, your motorsport and simracing background, and other details that help make your profile more personal.

The lower section of the profile will automatically display your **personal statistics and career data**. Over time, this area will continue to grow as we integrate more data from our series and events.
There will also be an internal section that is only visible to our commentators. This can contain additional information about active series, cars, teams and other useful details that can help us during live broadcasts.
But back to your actual public **Driver Profile**:

**What do you think should definitely be included?**
  • What information would you like to be able to add about yourself?
  • What would you find interesting when looking at another driver’s profile?
  • And what belongs in a proper simracing driver profile in your opinion?
A few examples could be:

* Current Team
* Current Car
* Favourite Car
* Favourite Track
* Favourite Class
* Simracing Since …
* P1 Driver Since …
* Previous Teams
* Achievements / Highlights
* Personal Bio
* Favourite Series
* Social Media / Streaming Channels
* Personal Driver Photo or Profile Picture

These are just some initial ideas.

**Feel free to post anything that comes to mind – even if it sounds a little unusual at first.**
Now is exactly the right time for it, because while everything is still in Alpha, we can take good ideas into account right from the start and build them directly into the system.
So let us know: **What would you like to see in a proper P1 Driver Profile?** 🏁

P1 Driver Profile – Update

A lot has happened with the new P1 Driver Profile over the last few days. 🏁

The whole project is still very much in Alpha, but the basic structure is now starting to take shape. Some areas have been expanded, others have been completely rebuilt, and at the same time we are already preparing the foundation for the upcoming Driver & Career Statistics.

Driver Identity & Favorites

The personal section of the Driver Profile has been significantly expanded.
The goal is to give every driver the opportunity to make their profile as individual as possible. At the moment, the following information is planned or already included:
  • Personal Driver Photo
  • Current Car including your own Livery
  • Active Driver Since
  • Country
  • Gender
  • Favorite Car
  • Favorite Tracks
  • Favorite Series
  • Current Racing Team
  • Personal Simracing Teams
For your Current Racing Team, additional information such as the team logo, Discord and website can also be added.
Drivers can also enter separate teams for different simulations. The current structure already supports, among others:
  • Le Mans Ultimate
  • rFactor 2
  • iRacing
  • Assetto Corsa
We want to avoid limiting a driver profile to just one team name, because many of us race for different teams depending on the simulation or series.

Personal Cars & Liveries

Another new area is the presentation of your current car.
Drivers can upload their own livery, making their profile much more personal and recognizable.
In the long term, we also want to connect this area more closely with our series, team and vehicle data.

Commentary Information

The Commentary Information section has also been expanded.
Here you can provide information about yourself that may be useful or interesting for our commentators during live broadcasts.
For example:
  • Simracing history
  • Special achievements
  • Nicknames
  • Rivalries
  • Favorite cars or tracks
  • Interesting stories
  • Or simply anything you are happy for us to mention during a broadcast
The idea behind this section is that during a race we should know more than just your car number, position and team.
We want to be able to tell the viewers something about the driver behind the car.

Driver & Career Statistics

At the same time, the actual statistics section is being developed in the lower part of the profile.
Among other things, the following areas are planned:

Current Driver Snapshot

Current information about the driver, team, series, class, car and race number.

Series Statistics

Statistics separated by individual P1 series, including for example:
  • Starts
  • Wins
  • Podiums
  • Pole Positions
  • Best Results
  • Additional series-specific statistics

Career Totals

Long-term P1 career statistics including totals such as:
  • Starts
  • Wins
  • Podiums
  • Titles
  • Career History
Most of this section will later be generated automatically from our series and race data and will not need to be maintained manually by the driver.
There are also already dedicated areas planned for simulation-specific values such as Safety Rating and Driver Rating, for example for Le Mans Ultimate and iRacing.
These sections are still in development.

Still a Long Way to Go

The current profile is still only an intermediate development stage.
The design, presentation, content and statistics will continue to be revised, improved and expanded.
But it is important to me that we do not finish everything behind closed doors and only show you the final result afterwards.
I would still like to involve your ideas as early as possible.
So if you see the current version and think:

“This definitely needs to be part of a Driver Profile.”

…please post it in the thread.
Small ideas are welcome as well. Right now is exactly the right time to include them while the structure is still being built.
The goal is not simply to create another profile page.

The goal is to build a real P1 Driver Career – combining your personal Driver Profile, teams, cars, series and a long-term statistical history of your time racing at P1.
Still Alpha – but it is starting to look like something. 😉🏁
