Hello Peter! First of all, I'm sorry that you made this decision. The BMW M8 only got a boost, since it lost 20 kilos, didn't it? Then how did the car become undriveable? Or what do you mean by that? Is it really that bad now? :(

    • BMW M8 GTEv3.15
      -20kg on standard aero package
      Adjusted pitstop times

The car was driving the same as always with the same set.

  3. I was doing some GT3 BoP work right in these days and I couldn't kill a single car not even moving 43kg and/or moving weight distribution by a lot.
Sounds like a comfortable excuse, as there can't be sense behind that statement. No way

  4. Side note: now 18'C on servers, as much as Towcester (so Silverstone).
Do I guess right? :D Jokes aside, give it a look when you can, thanks staff

@Riccardo Corazzari that was an insane good fight in the first two stints. Thanks for this fight, was a lot of fun for me. Was more fun, then i experienced in the last few month in a race. Also crats for the win. Your and Christians pace were not from this world. Don´t know what you guys found in the setup, but that was very impressive.

"It really gets to the point where driving in traffic is no longer any fun and it's just abf...... . Things like going round the outside of the 4-way left and braking past with almost 100 m behind before the braking point are just too much of a good thing. And before a GT driver comes along and says, you don't have to do that, but we do! Otherwise we lose more than 1 second to the opponents in one corner. You can't compensate for that. So we shoot past the GTs and sometimes pray that it goes well. I think the fun is really limited at the moment.

If you seriously have this attitude, you drive the wrong class. Sometimes you have to accept the time you loose and dont terrorize the slower classes.

You don´t get it at all or you don´t want to understand it. For sure i go not for every gap. You can look into the replay and you will see, that iám not more agressive then everyone else, probably a lot less agressive then some of the other LMP1. The Problem, i talk about is, that the speed-difference between the classes is to high, specially in the corners. That forced every LMP1 driver to overtake on parts on the track, where it is not very safe and of course not realistic compared to the reality. I just think, that less speed-difference specially in the Breaking-zone and in the corners would make the racing on track better. But thats just my opinion. And to be honest, iám so sick of this attitude, just to blame everyone, who say his opinion and want to improve the experiece on track. All you do is, : "Ahh, you are wrong, you drive wrong, blah..." I did enough Endu races and i know what i f.... do on track. The fact is, that this classes don´t match very well. You saw that also in VEC, where we drove f.... DPi-F1-cars. That was also bullshit. This Protos are way to fast, specially in the corners. For next season we need slower Protos and it would be good, if they are fast on the straight and have less performence in the corner. 24h Daytona and even 24h LeMans were so much better, then the actual experience

well, not much to say about this race that was being fun, our #140 GTE car took away our victory due to a stop and go at the start when the green flag was not clearly heard by many drivers and watching videos and our car in first position was I have a penalty, so good.

Afterwards, as I have already said on several occasions, once again an LMP1 ruined our race, which was precisely the same LMP1 that ruined our race at Silverstone, he hit us from behind and repaired us in the box, I don't know what that LMP1 thought, if he runs alone Or what is he playing, anyway... Tired of how the LMP1s were thrown around the outside like crazy in turn 8, which made us lose many seconds to avoid our unpredictable movements, as they told us in Silverstone so that they have the whole track. for them. little more to say. GT behavior when fighting someone quite clean.

Not CLEAR??? There was no green flag, not even a "get ready" when you guys started to accelerate out of the last corner. Can't believe you always blame race-control for your team's mistakes.

Nobody forces anyone to do it. Its just impatient from the quicker classes.

You cant really compare this 2 tracks with the others, you have way more straights where you can pass by

And if you have so much issues with quick cars maybe try some GT ?

  15. There is so much laptime lost that can be re-gained in strategy around traffic that being over aggressive in overtakes doesn't make much sense, only if you are really desperate with race pace maybe.
But at the same time, as an LMP1 driver, it's quite funny to see only 2 lmp2 teams (and one is our car) that play smart while being overtaken, while everyone else simply play at who brakes later (and goes with slowest minimun speed into corners...), or who throttles the latest to have 0 performance re-gained on exit. Same for gt cars. Think about it.

In my opinion yesterday it wasn't that bad with traffic in general, at least from my perspective. I just had a couple of moments but nothing out-of-control.
I want to apologize to the lmp2 driver I gave a little kiss in the arse at the penultimate corner: I misjudget the distance, totally unintentional, totally my fault. Sorry for the slide.

#140 literally started the race out of nowhere, accelerating in the second to last corner. GTEs at the back of the grid probably did not have time to properly line up in double file.
Even while on start finish I could clearly hear Simon whisper, so race control did nothing wrong here.

Looks to me that you actually dont know about the P1 race start procedure, that there is a "Get ready, Green flag" for each class. Have a look at the broadcast, you started the race with the LMP1s "Green flag" messing up the whole GTE fields start. So penalty seems legit to me
